Electric Golf Push Cart That Follows You

It seems that there has been a surge in demand for electric golf push carts. That’s no surprise due to the physically demanding nature of the golf course.

My goal with this article is to provide you the best information possible so that it’s easier for you to make your decision. All of this information can be found on amazon.com

If you are in the market for an electric golf push cart that follows you than I hope this post helps you out in making your decision.

We live in a fantastic world where we now can walk the golf course and have our push cart follow us. It doesn’t get better than that .

Now let’s get on with it already!

Stewert Golf X9 Follow Electric Cart

The Stewart X9 electric golf cart can be found on amazon and at the time of writing this post it has 12 customer reviews with at 3.5 stars.

To be honest, that’s not too bad in my opinion, the fact that you even have 12 reviews on an item that cost this much money is pretty good.

X9 Features

  • Automatic Follow
  • Outstanding Stability
  • Bluetooth Remote Control
  • Lithium Battery
  • Strong Chassis
  • Compatible With Any Cart/Tour Bag
  • Room For Accessories Such As Golf Balls, Tees…

Some Positives To The X9

There’s no denying that the X9 cart looks amazing, compared to some of the other electric carts on the market, I would say this one takes home the trophy.

The X9 comes with a choice of three different colors at the time of this post which is a huge plus I think.

The cart folds up nicely and looks like it can fit in the trunk of any car and can definitely fit in the bet of any truck.

It comes with a easy to read and understand remote.

Some Negatives

Even though this cart looks amazing, there are some reviews on amazon that might make you rethink purchasing this cart.

But when I read the reviews, I personally didn’t think they would be that concerning to me.

These reviews were pointing out that the cart was losing Bluetooth connection to the remote.

But this could be easily fixed with a reset of the remote and if that didn’t work, you can contact the customer support team and I’m sure they would be able to help you.

It appears that the return policy is not the “Amazon” return policy. Which is kind of a big deal, especially for a product that cost what it does.

But I can understand why they have this in place, as a company, they need to cover themselves. If you’re buying an item like this, I would highly recommend giving it some thought.

Make sure it’s the one you want and that you know what could potentially go wrong.

To Sum Up The X9

This is the coolest electric cart that I have seen on amazon, if I had extra money to spend on a cart like this, I would do it for sure. I feel like the good reviews outweigh the bad reviews.

FTR Caddytrek R2

The FTR Caddytrek R2 has the classic push cart design with very little flashy features. The battery is tucked nicely in between the two rear wheels and are completely encapsulated.

If you’re looking for maximum benefits with little to no technical features, I would say this is your cart. Unlike other electric carts priced around the FTR, the FTR doesn’t have a digital display for the cart. They don’t provide images of their remote control so I don’t know if this is also basic like the competitor’s remotes.

At the time of writing this post, the FTR has 10 customer reviews and 4 stars on amazon. It seems to be a pattern with the “follow carts” that this is the main complaint, if someone doesn’t like the cart, it’s because the cart stopped following them.

Like most of the push carts on the market, this cart seems to be easily stored and can be easily opened with little to no effort.

This electric push cart seems to have solved a problem that most of the other carts have not. That would be the wheel/tire design. If you play on a very hilly course, you will need tires that grip the grass. These tires have a diamond-shaped tread which looks like they will grip the grass with no problem at all.

On To The Bag Boy Navigator

Now, I wouldn’t give this cart an award for the best looking electric golf cart. I also want to mention that this cart will Not Follow you.

But at the time of writing this post, it has more reviews and more stars than the X9 and the FTR carts. So I thought I should bring it up just in case you don’t really care about the following feature. I also must say that I can’t imagine BagBoy not coming out with a model of some kind that doesn’t follow you one day.

The Bag Boy Navigator comes with one less feature than the X9, but are there other features that can make the difference between which one you choose.

At the time of this post, the bag boy navigator has 16 reviews with 4.5 stars. Which is really good I would say for such an expensive item.

Bag Boy Navigator Features

  • Patented Stability Design
  • Bluetooth Remote Control
  • Lithium Battery
  • Compatible With Any Cart/Tour Bag
  • Room For Accessories Such As Golf Balls, Tees…
  • Seat Included
  • 5th Wheel For Extra Stability

Some Positives

The Bag Boy Navigator appears to have a smaller remote than the X9 which may or may not be a big deal to you. The Bag Boy remote looks much cooler I would say, which again may not be that big of a deal to you.

The folding and unfolding of this cart looks to be super simple. With what appears to be one fold of the neck into the body of the unit. Just grab it and toss it in the car trunk, just like a regular push cart.

There’s More Than One Model

The Bag Boy MGI has three different models in the quad series to choose from that are all priced differently.

The Navigator Quad

This comes with a fully directional remote control with the gyroscope technology keeps you on track through most any terrain.

The Coaster Quad

Tames the terrain with down hill coasting system with electric breaking that can stop on any hill or steep declines.

The Hunter Quad

With controlled distance function and stop on demand, you can steer the cart in front of you and behind you.

Amazon has a great video of the functionality of all the quad series electric cart that I recommend you checking out.

There You Have It

There were a couple more carts on amazon that followed you but they didn’t have enough reviews. I didn’t want to put a cart on here that wasn’t top notch and tested by the amazon community.

If I see another electric push cart on amazon that looks worthy of reporting I will certainly do so.
